What a start!!
£20k raised and it’s still November!
With the teams being announced at the start of November, we’d normally see a few donations here and there as players setup their Just Giving pages, but this year is different!
We’re delighted to announce the U.K. Charity Allstars Cardiff20 weekend has raised over £20k and we’re not at the end of November!
One noticeable amount of money has been donated to us from Lucas Automotive Europe. Between themselves and Ice Hockey UK, they kindly donated the GB Warm up shirts from this year’s training camp ahead of the World Championships to auction and all proceeds would be split between the 8 Allstars teams!
The total of £3894.97 was raised after costs and Lucas doubled the total up to £7800!
We can’t thank Lucas and Ice Hockey UK enough for this donation and it will go a long way to helping the numerous charities we support. A big thank you must also go to Allstars players Will Fry and Ross Toomey for their work with making this happen.
This is a great start as we look to break another fundraising record from last year’s event.
