Allstars mascot and talisman Scarlett loses her battle.
The UK Charity Allstars send all our love and best wishes to our good friends Clair and Chris, as we wake to hear the news that brave Scarlett lost her battle and passed away last night.
Scarlett was adored as the mascot for Ty Hafan hockey and was a source of inspiration for many of the players who raised funds for Ty Hafan, the Childrens' hospice that did so much to care for her and support her wonderful parents throughout her life. Her beautiful smile and wonderful nature brightened the day of anyone who met her.
Scarlett's condition made her unique in her struggles, but she was unique to us as a beautiful, inspirational and incredibly tough little princess.
Allstars Chairman Paul Sullivan said:
"There are simply no words. We all loved Scarlett, and admired the incredible parenting Clair and Chris gave her through such difficult challenges. Our hearts go out to them both and we know in particular our Ty Hafan Allstars will be devastated by this news.
We will be thinking of Scarlett every day, and particularly when the Ty Hafan team ice for the 2019 Allstars tournament. There really is nothing else to say than 'rest in peace, princess.' "
