#Sheffield18 has smashed through the £90k barrier in fundraising!
The UK Charity Allstars are delighted to announce that this year's #Sheffield18 campaign has smashed the previous record for a Sheffield based Allstars event, beating the previous record of £88,000 by breaking the £90k barrier before the weekend even officially begins.
This is yet another record breaking performance by our Allstars, who continue to defy all expectations with their incredible fundraising.
Allstars Chairman Paul Sullivan said,
'Once again we're lost for superlatives. What an effort, what a total (and still rising), what a group of people. We talk about sums of money but what this all simply boils down to is that many, many peoples lives will be improved by this achievement. 8 fantastic Charities will be able to support those in need thanks to our Allstars.
We cannot thank each and every contributor, sponsor, partner, player and volunteer enough.
Even more exciting, we haven't had the weekend yet so who knows where we could finish!'
