The UK Charity Allstars committee are pleased to announce that we've now passed the £70k milestone for the tenth anniversary event.
This is an incredible achievement by our fundraisers and we give our sincere thanks to each and every Allstar.
We've seen a huge push in the last two weeks as our players aim for their £200 goals, with additional sponsorship, offline donations and additional events happening all over the Country and the internet.
To give you an idea of the work put in by all involved, we've raised over £10k in just 11 days! This time last year, £54900 had been achieved so you can see the desire to pass last years total once again and hit our new target for the tenth anniversary.
You'll notice that our total figure raised at the top of our site is a little lower than our announced figure - this is because we have some additional sponsorship and offline monies to add to the total - the figure above is the total of all our players' and fundraisers' just giving pages, but lots of lovely people have contributed in other ways, pushing us over the £70k line.
While we've been fundraising and announcing sponsors, we have now launched our new website too and we've had great feedback on the work put in by Limegreentangerine. In the coming days we have some fantastic player-written articles to publish, which will give you a real insight into some of the stories, motivations, and hard work of our Allstars.
So as we press on with the fundraising and event organising, once again – a huge thank you to you all for this amazing milestone!
