The UK Charity Allstars organisers are delighted to announce that #Cardiff19 has already raised an incredible £60,000 for our 8 wonderful Charities.
Last year the hard work of our Allstars had raised just over £50k by 5th May, so this year is looking to be a strong showing from our wonderful, committed group.
Lots of work and discussion has been happening behind the scenes in 2019 as the Allstars elves have been preparing, planning and plotting new and even more successful ways to raise money for our wonderful causes.
Allstars Chairman Paul Sullivan said:
'Once again, we are blown away by the hard work and dedication of our Allstars. We are seeing more plans than ever before to take the fundraising out of the weekend with quizzes, walks, climbs, and many other events going toward the final totals of our amazing teams.
We cannot thank all of our on and off ice fundraisers enough, and a particular special thank you must go to the 2019 Captains who have been driving harder than ever to generate this amazing amount with the support of their players and off-ice ambassadors.'
More news about the 2019 Allstars event, to be held in the Viola Arena in Cardiff Bay, will be unveiled shortly and details of our jerseys for 2019, sponsors and how you can support us will also be forthcoming.
