2023 All Star Captains
The UK Charity Allstars' success relies on a great number of people, from on ice players, off ice helpers, Arena staff, charity helpers and so many more but without one set of people the task would be so much harder.
Skate forward the team Captains.
Each year they deliver and grow the teams, so records get broken, and we hear more and more stories of how they have helped their causes gain further awareness outside the main weekend.
During the highly successful 2022 event we all sat down and reflected on their year, planning for the event, and how to keep the team’s moving forwards.
With the event having a three full years rule in place for captains and a couple of captains passing on the baton there are some changes required and time for new captains to lead their respective teams into 2023.
We can’t thank those departing captains enough for all they have done to help grow the event and hope they will play on enjoying the weekend as a fundraiser player or off ice fundraiser if they are hanging up the skates.
So thank you for all you have done and the difference you have made to those charities you have lead the teams for especially during two cancelled events:
Adam Clark
Dan Langhorn
Sam Phillips
Reece Paul
Ioana Whitehead
We therefore are delighted to announce the Cardiff 2023 Captains who will lead the Charity Teams for the 2023 Event:
Janu Micallef - Breast Cancer Care
Gareth Dutton - British Heart Foundation
James Pepper - Ty Hafan
Josh Cummings - Prostate Cancer UK
Rachel Miles - Team Mind
Geraint Walters (last Year) - Dreams Come True
Melissa Bosworth - Help For Heroes
David Williams - Barbarians Select
We look forward to working with the captains for Allstars 23 as we look to raise more money and awareness for all the worthy charities.
Event Registration will be open soon to take part in 2023 as a player or off ice fundraiser
